We are trying to help a family member who just lost his mom this week and his dad is newly on hospice as well. He is having trouble taking off work to help care for his dad and plan and attend his mom’s funeral as fmla is unpaid and he only receives 1 hour of pto for every 30 hours worked. There will obviously be a lot of incurred expenses as him and his wife are also pregnant and in the first trimester. Plus life insurance only covers so much. This is an incredibly hard time for him and the rest of his family and we are just trying to help in even the smallest way possible.
