With heavy hearts, we are reaching out for support during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. Our beloved uncle, Valentin Rivera, has been courageously battling cancer. After years of fighting, doctors have told us that he only has days to weeks left. We are devastated, but we are doing our best to surround him with love, peace, and comfort in his final days.
Valentin is a husband, brother, uncle, and friend whose heart has always been bigger than his circumstances. He is a man of quiet strength and kindness—someone who has always been there for others, even when he had little to give. Now, we want to be there for him and his wife—our aunt and our mom’s sister—as they prepare to say goodbye far too soon.
