We Have Lost Our Rock — Brian Champagne
January 31, 1966 – May 25, 2025
It’s with broken hearts that we say goodbye to someone who meant so much to all of us. Brian was more than just one role in our lives—he was many. A father. A son. A brother. An uncle. A friend. Our rock.
Losing him so suddenly, in a tragic semi accident, has left a hole we cannot begin to fill. It doesn’t seem possible that someone so full of life, laughter, and love could be gone in an instant. The shock has settled in, but the pain is just beginning—and yet, even in our sorrow, we remember him with deep gratitude.
Brian had a way of making everyone feel safe and seen. He showed up when it mattered. He gave the best hugs, the truest advice, the kindest words—sometimes unspoken, but always felt. He worked hard, loved fiercely, and carried the weight of so much on his shoulders without complaint. He was the one we leaned on, our steady presence in an unsteady world. To his children, he was a hero. And to so many others, he was a loyal friend, the kind who sticks around when things get tough. That was Brian. We will miss his laughter, his strength, his wisdom, and his incredible heart. But more than anything, we’ll miss him. The everyday presence. The voice on the other end of the phone. The person who knew us without us needing to explain.
Brian, we will carry your memory with us forever. In the stories we tell. In the love we give. In the strength we find when we don’t think we can go on—because you would want us to.
Rest in peace, Brian. We love you. We always will
