Support Audrey’s Legacy with a Headstone

My name is Lisa Skyers, and I’m raising funds for a headstone for my beloved mom, Audrey. She went into cardiac arrest suddenly on May 9th. She was declared brain dead on May 10th, and on Mother’s Day (May 12th, 2024), we made the tough decision to take her off life support. My mother was love in human form. She made everyone feel welcomed and cared for. My brother and I never had to worry about her love for us. She lived it daily. She sacrificed to make sure we had everything we needed to succeed.

Her kindness and compassion taught me to be slow to anger and understand others. She was also known for her incredible Caribbean cooking, especially her favorite and most beloved dish, oxtail, which everyone loved. She was also known for her random singing. Her favorites were Hymns and anything BTS.

Mom left this world suddenly and without life insurance (we were in the process of getting it the week before she passed). We raised part of the funeral costs through a fundraiser last year. Thank you to everyone who donated. Your love and support allowed us to give Mom the service she deserved.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Please share this campaign and keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Breakdown of Costs:

Flat Headstone: $2005

Cement Block: $199

Guard: $190

Instillation: $200

Fees that may apply: Remaining funds

Please help if you can by donating and sharing this campaign. Your support means the world to us and will help us honor our mother’s memory in the way she deserves.
