On behalf of Angelle Bergeron and her family, we are reaching out during a time of profound loss and remembrance.
Angelle’s beloved father, Dale Bergeron, passed away recently, leaving behind not only his loving family but a legacy of service, laughter, wisdom, and community leadership. A devoted husband, father, and brother, Dale was a man whose presence brought comfort and guidance to all who knew him. His laugh was contagious, his stories unforgettable, and his kindness unmatched.
Dale Bergeron was more than just a family man, he was a pillar of the Livonia community and a true hometown hero. For over 30 years, he served as Fire Chief of the Livonia Volunteer Fire Department, taking over from the department’s first chief and helping to lay the foundation of what Pointe Coupee Fire District 4 is today. Whether he was suited up to fight fires, helping his fellow firefighters train, or simply offering a good meal recommendation (he always knew the best spots!), Dale gave his whole heart to service.
Behind the scenes, his daughter Angelle Bergeron was giving her all too, the only daughter caring for both of her parents with unwavering love and devotion. Her quiet strength held her family together through difficult times, and now she faces one of the hardest chapters of all: saying goodbye to her father while continuing to care for her mother.
We are humbly asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering the costs associated with Dale’s funeral arrangements and helping Angelle and her family honor him in the way he truly deserves.
Let us come together to support a daughter who has given so much of herself to care for her family and to honor a man who gave decades of service to his community.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
Rest in peace, Chief Dale Bergeron. Your legacy lives on in every heart you touched
