Those who knew Amy knew that she was one of a kind. She had a tongue sharp as a knife and a heart pure as gold to match.
A few months ago, after feeling like she was dealing with her usual lung issues, she made a trip to the doctor. It was then that she discovered that the evil disease, cancer, had invaded her body.
With the most amazing attitude, she pushed through, determined to live life for as long as she could and to give the best time she had to Braylon. Unfortunately, that time was less than anyone could have imagined.
We lost Amy today. Her grandson, Braylon, lost his amazing grandmother; Thad and Casey lost a loving mother; her friends lost a gem; her boyfriend, Rick, lost a love; and heaven gained an angel.
In the swiftness of everything, Amy was unable to get life insurance to cover herself in the unthinkable chance this would happen. This fundraiser is being set up to help family and friends with the funeral and burial costs so they are able to give her the send-off she deserves.
