Stand by Bubba’s Loved Ones in Their Loss

Thomas Padgett, better known as Bubba, was diagnosed with diabetes in 2006. This decades long battle led to several other major health issues including stage 5 kidney failure, liver failure, and blindness related to severe diabetic disease. Ultimately, Bubba’s fight came to an end on Monday, May 26th 2025. He will continue to be remembered by friends and family as a man who loved, worked, and gave his best for others whether friends, family, or stranger. Folks would know him for his home maintenance business, others will know him from his days as a traveling pipe-fitter and tradesman, and some for the best boiled peanuts on this side of the Mississippi. No matter who you were you knew Bubba Padgett. He lived a life with a smile on his face and a can of dip in his pocket. He will continue to be loved and cherished by his loving wife Melisa Padgett, his daughter Chelsea Padgett, his son Clayton Padgett, his mother Juju Padgett, his father Tommy Padgett, his sister Charlotte Iusti, his brother-in-law Andy Iusti, his mother-in-law Linda Williamson Dunaway, his son-in-law Cole Prince, his grand babies Tilly, Della, and Slate, and his special brother and sister Jerry and DeeDee Dixon, and by a much larger group of family and friends that have too many different last names to list. This fund is to honor Bubba and help to support the cost of the service expenses and to provide support for his wife Melisa Padgett as she battles through this tough period of time in life.
