My name is Jennie Bucholz, and I’m the mom of Shalie Lipp—a fierce competitor, a relentless dreamer, and my beautiful daughter who left this world far too soon.
Shalie was an elite athlete, a rising MMA star, and more than anything, a light to everyone who knew her. After her tragic passing in a car accident at just 21 years old, my world changed. Grief has no map—but love does. And that love is guiding us toward something special.
We are building a memorial garden sanctuary on our family’s farm in Minnesota. This will be a place not just to remember Shalie, but to welcome anyone who has lost someone they love. A place for reflection, for healing, and for signs from above.
This sacred space will feature:
A winding path lined with engraved bricks
Memorial benches for quiet reflection
️ Native flowers and pollinator gardens
A gazebo for peaceful gathering and ceremony
And pieces placed in memory of other loved ones, too
Whether you knew Shalie, lost someone of your own, or simply believe in the healing power of nature—we invite you to be part of this vision.
Your donation can sponsor a flower bed, a brick, a tree, or a bench. Every gift helps us grow this garden from the ground up. And every name remembered here will live on in love.
Thank you for walking this path with us.
