Remembering Peggy: A Wife, Mother, Grandma By Doerise Fields

On May 29th 2025, God called My Momma Peggy Ann Andrae to be with him. She passed away in her sleep. She battled with Copd and breathing problems for awhile. I am starting this fundraiser for my Dad Joseph Andrae to help with the expenses. My Dad is an Army vet and him and my Mom were on a fixed income. My Mother deserves for her memory to be honored. Anyone who knew my Mom Peggy , knew she loved them. My mom loved everyone, she was big hearted , kind, sincere and if she had it to help, she did. My Mom battled mental illness as long as I can remember. Meanwhile she raised me while working and battling her mind, she cared for my Father and was a dedicated wife. From taking his work shoes off after work, to helping me catch up on four baskets of laundry when she would visit & stay for like 2 months , just to help her daughter and put a smile on her face. Wheb I had to start over a couple times their home was always open for me and their grandchilrend no questions asked. She loved all of her Grandchildren, she could look after 6 kids without breaking a sweat , trust me , with mine that ain’t easy. From playing trouble, uno, watching movies, shows about Jesus, reading stories and making funny voices with my kids like when she used to play dolls with me.To letting me stay out of school to play Donkey Kong Diddys quest with her. From loving my Husband as her son and the bond they have. Between all those things my Mom can never be forgotten. She could sing I mean Sang so beautiful, you probably heard her sing a Patsy Cline song once or twice. She wanted everyone to go to Heaven and loved the Lord. My mom is the only person I seen that fighht the Devil and she won. For a long time battling with bipolar my mom feared for her salvation even though she had a heart of Gold. I say she won that battle because she Never turned her back on the Lord, not once. By Gods Grace she died peacefully in her sleep. My Dad Joseph found her and said she had the most peaceful look on her face and her red hair was already growing back around the frame of her face on the roots. God is good and she left this world with my Father ,me and my children knowing the meaning of a wifes love , a Mother’s love, a Grandmother’s, A daughter’s love and Gods love . My Mom wanted to see my Father baptized and he made the decision to contact her Pastor and do that .Im asking for this help for my Father because I know he wont. My mom would always say I”m not gonna be here one day” my Dad said thats because my mom wanted everyone to cherish their loved ones and enjoy every moment . Anything would help even sharing this post or prayers. My Dad wants everyone to know Peggy is the love of his life. He knew no other woman, and couldn’t be prouder of the wife he had, she always was there for him no matter what even if she was mad. They were together 40 years they would have been married 34 on June 13th this year. Anything would help even sharing this post or prayers. Thank you for taking the time to read about what a loving woman Peggy Ann Andrae was and the love that she left in this world.
