Honoring the Life of Kodi D. Sherman
Written by B.J. Hubbard, her friend
It’s with deep sadness and love that I share the passing of my friend, Kodi D. Sherman. As I try to process this tremendous loss, I’m reaching out for support to help with the costs of her cremation and to give her the celebration of life she truly deserves.
Kodi was one of the strongest, most genuine souls I’ve ever known. She was funny, loud, honest, and beautifully blunt—always saying what needed to be said with love and confidence. She was creative and always doing something—fixing, organizing, helping, making things better just by being present.
She wasn’t just my friend—she was a constant in my life. Kodi would come over to help me clean, organize, or just sit with me and watch TV. If I called her, she came—no questions asked. She showed up. That was Kodi: strong-willed, nurturing, loyal beyond measure, and fiercely supportive.
I will never forget how she helped me see myself more clearly—how she reminded me of my strength and my worth when I couldn’t see it myself. That’s who she was to so many of us: a friend, a mirror, a force of love.
I’m raising funds to cover:
* Cremation services
* A celebration of life where we can gather, share memories, and honor the incredible person she was
* Final expenses to ease the burden on her family
If you’re able to contribute, know that every bit helps and means the world. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help us remember and honor Kodi in the way she deserves.
Thank you for your love and support.
With all my heart,
B.J. Hubbard
