On Sunday, Pam Luckman-Gabel unexpectedly passed away. Pam’s smile could light up a room, and I can still hear her laugh and tell me how much she loved and adored me. She gave her heart and helped heal people’s souls, helping them shine. She always provided a safe space to be your authentic self, without judgment, just laughter and love. She loved a person to the core of their being, and there will always be a special place in my heart for her. I will always pay it forward in her name to honor her kindness, generosity, and loving soul. I have been friends with Rory for 25 years, and I know that Pam brought out the best in Rory. I will be forever indebted to her for being my friend’s best half, loving mother to his children, and an amazing friend to all who ever had the privilege of knowing her, even if it was just for 5 minutes.
No one was prepared for this, especially her husband, twin daughters, and her family, the Luckmans.
In honor of Pam, I’m collecting donations for Rory and his girls, so that they may rest easy and not worry about finances while they heal. The funds will go directly to Rory to cover the mortgage and household expenses for the next 4 months.
