In Loving Memory of Daveon Rector
It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved Daveon Rector, the precious son of Angie Garcia and Rodney Rector, and beloved brother of Roderick Rector. His loss has left our family devastated.
Daveon was a kindhearted, compassionate young man who truly loved being around his family. He had a warm spirit, a big heart, and a gift for making others smile. He was passionate about music — he loved to play the guitar, and create his own music and beats. He especially enjoyed going to the beach and spending quality time with his loved ones. One of his greatest joys was the special bond he shared with his brother, Roderick.
Daveon is survived by his maternal grandmother, Juanita Garcia, who loved and adored him deeply. He was also a cherished nephew to Troy and Delicia Phillips, Keir and Brenda Simpson, Gabriel Garcia, and Adrian Garcia. His many cousins and extended family and friends will always remember him with love and fond memories.
He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Eugene Rector, and his extended family — the Rector family — who mourn his passing and will forever hold him in their hearts.
This unexpected loss has brought unimaginable sorrow, along with a financial burden, as Daveon did not have life insurance. Many of you have already reached out to help, and have donated money to Angie, and for that, we are incredibly thankful. To make it easier for those who wish to contribute, we’ve created a fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses.
Every donation, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this post to help us reach others who may want to support.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and continued support during this painful time.
