Help Us Honor the Life of Betty Hernandez
It is with deep heartbreak that we share the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Betty Hernandez, who left us far too soon after suffering a brain aneurysm that led to a heart attack. This tragedy was completely unexpected — she was full of life, and would have turned just 51 on June 23rd.
Betty was a bright, lovely woman who always gave her best, no matter what. She didn’t pretend to be perfect — she was real, strong, and full of heart. A fighter through and through, she always put her family first. She made sure we were loved, safe, and reminded every day of how much we mattered. She touched everyone she met with her warmth and determination.
Our father, her husband, is completely heartbroken, and our entire family is struggling to come to terms with this sudden loss. As we try to honor her memory, we are asking for help to raise $8,000 for her memorial cremation service. While a basic direct cremation costs about $3,000, we want to give her something more — something beautiful and deserving of the love she gave all of us.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us lay her to rest with dignity and love. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help us reach others who knew her or who simply want to help a grieving family during this time.
Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your support as we honor Betty’s life.
With love,
Ivan Mercado & the Hernandez Family
