On the morning of June 7, my beautiful mom, Cindy, passed away peacefully after a long, courageous fight with lung and heart issues. It still doesn’t feel real. She was the kindest, most selfless person I’ve ever known — full of warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. She gave everything she had to others, even when she had little left for herself.
Despite her health struggles, she never stopped fighting. Her heart may have been weak, but her spirit was unbreakable.
We were not prepared to lose her so soon. And like many families, we weren’t financially ready for this moment. She didn’t have anything set aside, but we want so badly to honor her the way she deserved — with the cremation and memorial service she wanted, and by laying her to rest beside my dad, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life.
If you’re able to donate or even just share this, it would mean the world to us. Every bit helps, and every gesture of kindness reminds us that we’re not alone in this. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
