Hi everyone,
My name is Clairee, and I was lucky enough to love Will for many years. I’m writing this with a heavy heart and honestly still in shock. On May 22nd, 2025, the world lost one of the funniest, kindest, most stubbornly optimistic people you could ever meet.
Will was just 33, and he spent the last few years bravely fighting health issues with the same spirit he brought to everything—finding the joke, lifting up everyone around him, and somehow making us feel better even when he was the one hurting. That was just who he was. He had a way of making you feel like things would be okay, no matter what.
Will leaves behind so many people who loved him deeply—his mom Josie, his two sisters, Shantay and Destiny, a large extended family full of cousins, aunts, and uncles who adored him, and countless friends who he considered family. He had a way of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room, and now so many of us are left with a hole in our hearts. And of course, there’s our sweet baby pug Nezuko, who was truly the light of his life. She’s missing him too.
If you knew him, you know he hated asking for help, but I’m setting this up to help cover funeral costs and some of the unexpected things that come with losing someone too soon. Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation, a memory, or just sharing this—means the world.
More than anything, I just want to make sure Will is remembered the way he deserves: as someone who never gave up, who made us laugh even when we wanted to cry, and who loved with his whole heart.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for loving him. Thank you for helping us say goodbye the right way.
With love,
Clairee
