My name is Cory Bustamante. I am the grandson of Pablo and Mary Bustamante. I am one of three grandchildren. My grandfather was such an amazing person. He taught me how to be strong, caring, God-fearing, and to stand by family when needed. When he got cancer, it was hard; they only gave him a few weeks. But he showed them—weeks turned into months.
He never gave up hope and prayed. As he got worse, my great-grandmother (my grandmother’s mom) fell ill after a nasty fall and passed. All the while, my grandma was taking care of my grandpa and dealing with her loss and the funeral. He got worse and worse. The day before we buried my great-grandmother, he passed on June 12th of 2025. I would like to help my grandmother with the funeral, but I am just a blue-collar worker barely making ends meet for my family. I have never done this before. I am not a man who asks for handouts, but I am falling short on faith.
If anyone reads this, God is good even when times are hard. But the world shows no mercy. Anything would be a blessing and help my grandmother deal with the financial issues at hand.
Thanks from the bottom of my ❤️.
