Help Kimberly’s Family in Their Time of Loss By class of 2019

Honoring Kimberly Barbecho:

Supporting Her Family in This Time of Loss

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved friend, Kimberly Barbecho, who recently lost her long, courageous battle with neuroblastoma. Kimberly was only 24 years old and had faced more in her short life than many of us could ever imagine. Diagnosed at age 4 with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer, Kimberly endured years of aggressive treatments, radiation, chemotherapy, surgeries, stem cell therapy, and even a liver transplant at age 9.

Despite the immense physical challenges, including later health complications like diabetes, seizures, and ongoing medical procedures, Kimberly never gave up. She shared her story openly and bravely, not for sympathy, but to inspire others to embrace life fully, no matter the obstacles. Through it all, she found strength in her faith, in loving herself as she was, and in the unwavering support of her family.

Now, in this time of unimaginable grief, we are asking our community to come together in Kimberly’s honor. Any generous donation will go directly to her family to help with funeral costs, medical expenses, and to ease their financial burden as we mourn the loss of their daughter, sister, and friend.

Let’s celebrate Kimberly’s life by supporting those she loved most. Thank you for your generosity, love, and kindness.
