Update: Jason has gone home to be with the Lord.
After fighting the good fight, he finished his race and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Though our hearts are broken, we rest in the promise that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).
We will miss him dearly, but we know this is not the end — only the beginning of eternity with Jesus.
Thank you for your prayers and love.
If you feel led to help, donations are now going toward supporting the family and covering funeral expenses.
Understanding the Diagnosis
Just recently, our beloved Jason — only 26 years old — was diagnosed with four tumors on the left side of his brain. The symptoms came on suddenly, without warning.
These tumors are located in areas of the brain that affect speech, movement, and memory. Having four tumors increases the urgency and complexity of Jason’s treatment. This is not a slow or quiet illness — it demands both immediate care and long-term support, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
We are trusting God every step of the way, and we will continue to share updates on Jason’s condition and recovery right here, so friends and family near and far can walk this journey with us.
A Call to the Church: Stand in the Gap
The medical outlook is serious. Doctors have little hope for a full recovery… but we have great faith in Jesus. We believe in His power to heal, restore, and redeem — and we are standing on His promises.
This is a call to the Church — to pray boldly, give generously, and rise up in this fight. Jason cannot face this alone. Now is the time to stand in the gap — to be the ones God finds faithful when others turn away.
“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap…” — Ezekiel 22:30
Who Jason Is
Jason is one of the most genuinely kind and good-hearted people you could ever meet. He has a gift for making people feel at ease, and he brings a smile to every room he walks into. His laugh is unforgettable, his joy is contagious, and his heart is all in — whether he’s spending time with kids, catching up with a friend, or simply being present with those around him.
He never asks for recognition. He just loves people well, lives humbly, and quietly lifts everyone around him.
Jason spent years as a full-time missionary in Mexico, not only serving practically but boldly sharing the message of the Gospel. His life reflects a deep love for Jesus, and a desire to bring His hope to those who need it most. Now, he’s in the fight of his life — and we’re coming together to fight alongside him.
Why We’re Asking
These are real burdens — mounting quickly — and we want to help lift them as much as possible, so Jason and his family can focus fully on healing and hope.
Every offering given here goes straight to Jason’s family — to ease their burden, meet urgent needs, and allow them to focus fully on his care.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” — 2 Corinthians 9:8
Your Prayers Matter Deeply
If giving isn’t possible, please know that your prayers are just as vital. They are not secondary — they are powerful and deeply needed. We believe your prayers are helping to sustain Jason, calling on God’s intervention, strengthening his faith, and surrounding his family with peace and hope.
As the body of Christ, we hold to this truth:
“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:26
When you lift Jason in prayer, you’re standing with your brother in Christ — helping carry a burden no one should bear alone.
Together, we are believing for healing.
Together, we’re trusting God to do what only He can.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Update: Confirmed Diagnosis
We now have confirmation that Jason has a high-grade glioma — one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. Though the news is heavy, our hearts remain anchored in hope. We are continuing to seek the best path forward while trusting in God’s strength and healing.
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…”
— Isaiah 40:31
Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and love. We are not giving up — we are waiting on the Lord.
