Help Destinee’s Family Say Goodbye with Love and Dignity By Madison Jewell

A Young Mother’s Final Days

Destinee is 26 years old. She’s a wife, a mother to two beautiful young children, and someone I’ve known since high school. For the past four years, she has fought cancer with strength, grace, and everything she had. Now, her fight is coming to an end — and her family needs our help.

Destinee will be entering hospice next week. Without life insurance or burial coverage, her husband Scott — my coworker — is facing unimaginable grief and financial uncertainty, all while trying to comfort their 3-year-old and 6-year-old children. This fundraiser is about lifting some of that weight from their shoulders and giving them one last gift: peace.

Who We Are & Why I’m Sharing This

My name is Madison. I went to high school with Destinee, and I now work alongside her husband, Scott. Over the years, I’ve watched their love carry them through one impossible moment after another. It’s heartbreaking to see how hard they’ve fought — only to arrive at this point with no financial cushion to fall back on.

I’m not a close family member — I’m just someone trying to help. No one should have to plan a funeral for someone they love while also worrying about how to afford it. Especially not for someone as young and vibrant as Destinee.

Destinee’s Brave Fight Against Cancer

Four years ago, Destinee’s life was changed forever by a cancer diagnosis. She faced every round of chemo, every test, every treatment — including months of stem cell therapy — with incredible courage. Her hope never wavered, even when the treatments failed.

Her time is limited, and her family is preparing for the most painful goodbye imaginable.

An Urgent Need: Preparing for the Unthinkable

Destinee’s family doesn’t have life insurance or burial insurance. As the end approaches, Scott is left to cover the costs of funeral arrangements, and the ongoing needs of their children — all while holding the weight of grief.

Every dollar raised will go directly to covering:

• Funeral and memorial service costs

• Immediate family expenses for Scott and their children

How You Can Help This Family Find Peace

This is our chance — as friends, coworkers, classmates, and compassionate strangers — to come together and give Destinee’s family one less thing to worry about. No one can take away their pain, but we can help soften the financial blow and give Destinee the dignified goodbye she deserves.

Please donate if you can, and share this story if you can’t. Every gesture matters. Every kind word and contribution reminds this family they’re not alone.

A Legacy of Love for Her Two Children

Destinee’s children are just 3 and 6 years old. They won’t fully understand what’s happening right now, but in time, they’ll look back and see the incredible love their mother inspired — from friends, from coworkers, from people who may never have even met her.

Your donation is more than financial help. It’s a part of Destinee’s legacy. Thank you for giving her family the space to grieve, remember, and heal.
