Help Dean’s Family After Tragic Accident By Lorena Carr

On June 4, 2025, my friend DeAnna Elsey lost her father suddenly and unexpectedly in a tragic accident. Dean Elsey, a resident of Bonneau Beach, left for the day with his boat to do some fishing, a hobby that he very much enjoyed. Dean, an amputee, was attempting to dock his boat when he took a fall. Tragically, he lost his life.

Dean was very much an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending his free time out on the beautiful Lake Moultrie where he resided. Aside from his extracurriculars, Dean had also dedicated his life to the Lord. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, his 3 children, grandchildren, and his beloved dogs.

Dean’s viewing will be 6/11/2025 from 6-8pm at Oakley Rd Ministries. His service will be on 6/12/2025 at 11am.

If anyone can help with the burial arrangements, the family would be much appreciated.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
