Help Cat Lovers with donations to cover medical vet bills for our late beloved cat, Jar Jar Binks!
We’ve been animal lovers our whole lives, and we especially bonded with cats.
We’ve had our cat, Jar Jar Binks, since the first second he took his breath when he made his entrance.
He was diagnosed with an extremely rare condition called Synovial Osteochondromatosis (SOC) at a young age in his hind leg, which causes significant loose bones to lie in any joint lining tissue, such as the knee, and no surgical operation exists as of today, only amputation. This is a condition our vets and specialists had never seen personally before, only read about in literature, and that we will never see his condition again during our lifetime due to the rarity of it. Our cat was required to leave his knee open and extended the majority of the day to feel comfortable.
Although we were devastated, we were able to manage and treat his rare condition with pain medication for five years until he eventually did need a leg amputation due to the many bone progressions in his knee that made his ability to walk and function difficult and painful. His amputation went successfully, and he was so excited to be pain-free and was running faster as a tripod kitty that we were constantly just trying to catch up to him.
Over the course of his life, who recently even celebrated his 12th birthday this May, he brought us immeasurable joy, happiness, and kindness that is indescribable, not just towards us but to everyone and all the other pets he met.
He was the most affectionate and lovable cat that you could ever meet and loved and kissed on everyone he met. He has undoubtedly left us with an indelible mark on our hearts that will last us for eternity.
We were completely heartbroken, and words cannot even describe the devastation and shock of recently discovering that our Jar Jar Binks was diagnosed with possible cancerous lung nodules. Unfortunately, he later developed a cancerous mass, and his body became too weak to continue on this journey of life.
We are so heartbroken and grief-stricken, and we needed to say, “See you later, buddy.” Making sure it was keeping with his personality, he chose Memorial Day, and it is fitting for a cat who has been loyal and lovable since the first second he made his entrance into this world.
We are beyond devastated, shattered, and grief-stricken as we say our final goodbyes and cannot imagine how to move forward without our much-beloved cat, Jar Jar Binks.
To be able to manage his rare medical conditions and other health issues, we spent significant finances in order to keep him comfortable.
If you think of our Jar Jar Binks, we would love to receive even if it’s a drawing, painting, poem, etc., to cheer us up and keep his memory alive, including keeping us in your prayers, which will be greatly appreciated while we grieve and mourn this enormous and giant loss, but who was the most gentle and kindhearted soul❣️
If you’re able to contribute financially, we greatly appreciate you, and much love! ❤️
