Hi my name is Krissy.
As a family we are embarrassed to be in this situation but here we are.
My brother, passed away suddenly on June 11, 2025.
He was found in his basement slumped over on the floor after a year of struggling with an overwhelming amount of seizures.
As we await the autopsy to find out exactly what went wrong, we have begun the daunting process of preparing for his final rest.
After contacting the funeral home today we found out the money to cremate and see him one last time is $3600, which they want up front. We just don’t have it right now.
It used to be the death benefit could be filed by the funeral home but that has changed so we’re left in limbo as my brother sits at the morgue.
I have never tried gofund before but due to these circumstances I thought it was worth a shot.
Although my brother struggled throughout his life, he was a funny, caring and family loving guy who I would love to see be respected at the end as quickly as possible.
As difficult as times are in this world I don’t expect anything, however anything would help our family at this time and be so greatly appreciated.
