In Loving Memory of Guily, Madre Mia “Lilly”
Sunrise: — | Sunset: May 29th, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, sister and friend Guily “Lilly,” on the morning of May 29th. She left us peacefully at a skilled nursing facility, surrounded by love, and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
Lilly was truly the life of the party—beautiful, funny, full of love and laughter. She adored dancing to her favorite music, especially Los Bukis and Los Temerarios, and could light up any room with her energy. She was a fighter, an optimist, and a woman with unwavering pride in her family.
Born in humble beginnings in Mexicali, Baja California, she was the second-born of four children (Mara, Guily, Paty y Martin) daughter of Mama Coty ) attended Calexico Mission School. She knew how to make the most with what she had and gave everything she could to her children and grandchildren. Lilly is survived by her loving son Miguel and daughter Diana, three grandsons Mikey, Emiliano y Benny, and two granddaughters Valerie y Maddie, all of whom she cherished with all her heart.
She loved to travel and visit family in San Diego, Mexicali, and Northern California, always carrying her joyful spirit wherever she went. Her memory will live on through the laughter she inspired, the strength she showed, and the love she gave so freely.
As we work to honor her with the farewell she deserves, we are humbly seeking support to help cover funeral and cremation expenses, which begin at $6,095. Any support—whether through donations or simply sharing this message—would mean the world to us. Even small gestures go a long way in helping us give our mother the loving goodbye she deserves.
