Bringing Ashlee Knox Home To Honor Her Life By Leay Knox

Hello, my name is Leay Knox and I am 18 years old. On June 9th, 2025, my mother, Ashlee Knox, unfortunately passed away due to Congestive Heart Failure at only 36 years old. She fought a very difficult battle, in and out of the hospital for 4 years, enduring so much pain from her body gradually shutting down. Her life was extremely hard. She struggled to make ends meet to support herself and my siblings due to her illness. Leaving behind two other young children (ages 3 and 11), it has been hard to plan the funeral arrangements without having many funds.

I am only 18 years old and since I am next of kin, I am one of the primary planners for these arrangements. It’s very hard on all of us at this time. My mother was originally from California and hadn’t been in her home state in over 10 years. She had always wanted to go home. Due to us living in Louisiana and not having much, we couldn’t make that happen while she was still with us. We want to honor her wishes by being able to send her back to the place she loved the most. Her service will be held there so that everyone who loved her and she loved can attend.

My family is in need of anything that can be given, whether that is advice, funds, resources, etc. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated and would help immensely. Please help us honor the life of my mother, Ashlee Knox, who I and many others loved dearly.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
