# Bring Hannah Home: Memorial Fund for a Beloved Daughter, Sister, and Community Member
## Our Beautiful Hannah
Yesterday, our hearts were shattered when we lost our beloved Hannah in Alaska. She was a bright light – a cherished daughter, loving sister to her two younger brothers, and a proud member of both her Native American tribe and the LGBTQ+ community. Hannah’s spirit touched everyone who knew her, and now we need your help to bring her home to Hawaii where she can remain with her young Brothers and Family.
## Hannah’s Story
Hannah was a survivor who showed incredible strength throughout her life. Several years ago, she endured the trauma of kidnapping, which left her with invisible scars that she courageously battled every day. Seeking help and healing, Hannah traveled to Alaska hoping to find the mental health resources she desperately needed along with medical resources for a heart congenital heart condition. Tragically, those resources weren’t available to her when she needed them most.
Despite her struggles, Hannah remained a beacon of pride and resilience. She was deeply connected to her Native American heritage and was an active, proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. Her brothers looked up to her, and her loss has left an immeasurable void in all our lives.
## Why We Need Your Help
As we grapple with this devastating loss, we’re facing significant financial challenges to bring Hannah home and give her the farewell she deserves:
**Immediate Needs:**
– **Travel expenses**: Flights from Hawaii to Alaska for family members to be present for the autopsy and cremation process
– **Accommodation and meals**: Staying in Alaska during the necessary procedures
– **Hannah’s final expenses**: Cremation and possible memorial services
– **Return travel**: Bringing Hannah’s remains home to Hawaii where she can rest peacefully with her family and community
The unexpected nature of this tragedy has left her family unprepared for these substantial costs, and we’re reaching out to our community for support during this impossibly difficult time.
## Honoring Hannah’s Legacy
Hannah’s life was about helping others and standing up for those who needed a voice. In keeping with her spirit, any funds remaining after covering the necessary expenses will be donated to the **Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Foundation**. This organization works tirelessly to bring home other missing and murdered Indigenous women and to provide support for families like hers who are navigating unimaginable loss.
## How Your Donation Helps
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to bringing Hannah home and honoring her memory:
– **$25** helps with meals during our time in Alaska
– **$50** contributes to accommodation costs
– **$100** helps with travel expenses
– **$250** supports Hannah’s cremation and memorial services
– **Any amount** shows Hannah’s family that her life mattered and that they are not alone in this grief
## A Message from Hannah’s Family
Hannah was more than our daughter and sister – she was our warrior, our teacher, and our heart. She taught us about resilience, about pride in who you are, and about the importance of community. While we’re heartbroken that her journey ended too soon, we want to honor her memory by ensuring she comes home surrounded by love and by continuing her legacy of helping others.
We’re deeply grateful for any support you can provide, whether through a donation, sharing this campaign, or simply keeping Hannah and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
## Share Hannah’s Story
Please help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Hannah’s story matters, and together we can ensure that her memory lives on while helping other Indigenous women and families in need.
**Hannah, we love you. We’re bringing you home.**
