Hi friends. My name is Dani Rascon. I started the fundraiser to ask for your help with final arrangements for my best friend Lucki.
Lucki was my service animal. She was a sweetheart to everyone; she helped so many rescue dogs in the Anza area during the 5 years we worked in dog rescue as a team. I am finding it very difficult to find the right words to honor her memory at the moment.
Lucki was 10 years old and diabetic. After her diagnosis two and a half years ago, she’d been on a twice-daily regimen of insulin and blood checks. We’d been living on borrowed time.
Lucki passed away this weekend due to organ failure, and I am absolutely heartbroken. I am asking for your help to have her cremated so that one day we can be interred together. Finances are strained more than I can explain in this post.
Lucki meant so much to me. We’ve been through so much together, had so many adventures, and I don’t know how to move forward without her.
